The Interrotron, had it been in existence, would have come in handy to any number of hard boiled detectives of the Film Noir genre. Two teleprompters connected to two cameras. One camera (Cam A) shoots and records the subject / interviewee as the prompter connected to it displays the director / interviewer’s face. This gives the illusion that the subject of the interview is being stared down by the director. The second camera (Cam B) receives the interviewee’s face in return. Oh, they’ll crack, ya see?
